How it Works

VFM Support is an online value for money (vfm) and performance enhancing analysis tool designed specifically for supported housing services. The tool provides many exceptional
and essential attributes for better, quicker, more accurate decision making within local authorities in the UK.

VFM Support allows supported housing services to:

•Make best use of existing data to inform performance management of commissioned services.

•Understand and benchmark existing quality, performance and service costs, locally regionally and nationally, to inform future commissioning.

•Provide concise, user-friendly ‘dashboard’ style reports for Boards and other key stakeholders.

•Offer your providers access to live performance data about their own service plus benchmarking data on similar services locally, regionally and nationally.

The tool offers up-to-the-minute (as live as your latest uploaded data set) reports on service performance, quality (based on new and old QAF), service price (hourly rate, user costs individually, quarterly and annually) and SP outcomes.  You can also set targets for service type and client group, track individual service performance and produce an overall value for money score for a service, if required.

Being a web based tool, it is accessible anywhere and at any time. Once data is imported, it can be filtered and extracted at the click of a button.

You can drill into the data for deeper analysis of certain topics, for example, integrated into the tool is the ability to drill down into outcomes data to better understand patterns, trends etc and enable realistic target setting, by client group and service type.

Once signed up to the service, you simply upload your data in three easy steps..

1.    Browse and select data

2.    Select the extract type

3.    Upload!

When the data is uploaded, you can agree your targets using the configuration methodology service that is provided. Finally, analyse your data that is instantly presented to you on a dashboard, you can view it on a graph, table and even export the data to an Excel spreadsheet!
